Big Five Scores

Your friend has completed the Understand Myself personality assessment by Jordan B. Peterson. This assessment is based on the Big Five Aspects Scale, a personality model that measures traits across five factors. In turn, each of these factors is broken down into two aspects. Here they have shared their factor scores.

Agreeableness
This person is typical or average in agreeableness. Agreeableness is the primary dimension of Interpersonal interaction in the Big Five model of personality. Agreeableness reflects how much a person attends to the needs, interests, and desires of others, and their attitudes toward social and behavioral norms. The two aspects of agreeableness are compassion and politeness.

Their score puts them at the 54th percentile for agreeableness. If they were one of 100 people in a room, they would be more agreeable than 54 of them and less agreeable than 45.

Extraversion
This person is exceptionally low in extraversion. Extraversion is the primary dimension of positive emotion in the Big Five model of personality. You can think of it as the opposite of introversion. Extraversion is a measure of general sensitivity to positive emotions such as hope, joy, anticipation, and approach, particularly in social situations. The two aspects of extraversion are assertiveness and enthusiasm.

Their score puts them at the 2nd percentile for extraversion. If they were one of 100 people in a room, they would be more extraverted than 2 of them and less extraverted than 97.

Conscientiousness
This person is very low in conscientiousness. Conscientiousness is the primary dimension of dutiful achievement in the Big Five model of personality. Conscientiousness reflects recognition of obligation, attention to detail, hard work, persistence, cleanliness, efficiency and adherence to rules, standards, and processes. The two aspects of conscientiousness are industriousness and orderliness.

Their score puts them at the 8th percentile for conscientiousness. If they were one of 100 people in a room, they would be more conscientious than 8 of them and less conscientious than 91.

Openness
This person is moderately high in openness. Openness is the primary dimension of creativity and cultural engagement in the Big Five model of personality. It reflects a person’s interest in novelty, art, literature, ideas, abstract thinking, and philosophy, as well as their tendency to experience emotional reactions to art and beauty. The two aspects of openness are aesthetics and intellect.

Their score puts them at the 75th percentile for openness. If they were one of 100 people in a room, they would be more open than 75 of them and less open than 24.

Neuroticism
This person is typical or average in neuroticism. Neuroticism is the primary dimension of negative emotion in the Big Five model of personality. Neuroticism is a measure of general sensitivity to negative emotions such as pain, sadness, irritable or defensive anger, fear, and anxiety. The two aspects of neuroticism are volatility and withdrawal.

Their score puts them at the 42nd percentile for neuroticism. If they were one of 100 people in a room, they would be more neurotic than 42 of them and less neurotic than 57.
